Layla Ellison is one of the four protagonists in Redfall.

- Layla Ellison moved to Redfall from Wisconsin. She studied biomedical engineering at Redfall Technical University and interned at the ominous Aevum Therapeutics research facility, where apparently something went very wrong. She says everything after that is kind of a blur. The last thing she remembers is waking up with a killer headache and wild telekinetic powers.[3]
Gameplay Description[]
Layla's action skills are centered towards increasing her mobility and verticality in combat.
- Lift - Allows you to summon a Telekinetic Elevator to quickly and easily access rooftops. Ideal advantage points for snipers.
- Umbrella - This Telekinetic Ability will shield you and your team from incoming projectiles. The Umbrella can be launched forward damaging enemies in its path.

Biography[]
Layla attended Redfall Technical University, where she studied in Biomedical Engineering. However, this saddled her with an enormous amount of student debt and so to pay it off, she signed up for a medical study at Aevum Therapeutics. However, something went really wrong and Layla ended up with telekinetic powers while her boyfriend at the time, Jason, turned into a (friendly) vampire. The two broke up but remained on good enough terms that when Layla needs his assistance in a fight, he can be called on to help her out.
